Learn hair cutting and design, color, chemical services, and basic skin and nail care — in a supervised salon environment.
Specialize in skincare, facials, hair removal, and makeup application. A focused program designed to prepare you for licensure.

Getting Here
The campus is located at 1440 7th Street in Oakland, CA 94607. Street parking is available on 7th Street and surrounding blocks. The West Oakland BART station is approximately a 10-minute walk east along 7th Street. AC Transit bus routes also serve the corridor — check 511.org for current schedules.

The definition of hidden talent. Great students and teachers. They have beauty school salon prices. They do braids here as well. Very impressed with the service I received.
Nothing but a great experience here. You’re not a Guinea pig when you sit in that chair - you’re a client; albeit one of your barbers first. These barbers have a great vibe at this location and nothing beats the $10 price… although I suggest to plan to say thank you for your great cut with a $10 tip on top of it. Huge shout out to Hunter who gave me an awesome haircut!
