Whether you’re going to school for the first time or are one of our country’s honored Veterans, there is federal aid available to pay for school, for those who qualify.
We have a dedicated team available to assist you in assessing your eligibility for scholarships and financial assistance. Your career training can be possible with the help of Federal Student Aid, Pell Grants, Veterans Benefits, and other financial aid programs. Start by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov. The FAFSA helps determine what types of federal student aid you may qualify for, including grants and student loans.
When completing your FAFSA, use Moler’s federal school code: 015101.
Once your FAFSA is submitted, Moler’s Financial Aid team can help review your next steps. We can talk through your potential options, explain what documents may be needed, and help you better understand how financial aid may apply to your program.

Moler Barber College is approved by the state approving agency to enroll students who are eligible to receive Veterans educational benefits. The College also accepts funding from additional third-party sponsors, such as California Vocational Rehabilitation (Voc Rehab), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs, and other workforce or community agencies that support vocational training.
Students using VA, Voc Rehab, WIOA, or other third-party funding may contact the Financial Aid Office for help with documentation, certification, and program eligibility requirements. Students receiving assistance through these programs are also subject to the refund or return-of-funds policies established by the sponsoring agency.
Information regarding these policies is available from the Financial Aid Office or directly from the agency upon request.
Payment plans may be available to eligible students who wish to divide tuition payments over the course of the program. All payment arrangements must be approved by the College and may require an initial payment at enrollment. The College may use a third-party payment servicing provider to administer approved payment plans, including billing and payment processing. Terms and conditions are provided to students at the time a payment plan is arranged.
Scholarships may be another way to help pay for beauty school. Scholarship opportunities can vary based on availability, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and the organization offering the award.

Beauty Changes Lives offers scholarship opportunities for future and current beauty professionals, with opportunities that may vary by program type, season, sponsor, and eligibility requirements.
Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation
The Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation offers scholarship opportunities for students applying to or enrolled in cosmetology or barbering programs. According to the foundation, esthetician and nail training students are not eligible.
Great Clips Great Scholarship Program
Great Clips offers scholarship opportunities for eligible cosmetology and barbering students, with awards available up to $5,000 each and scholarships awarded bi-annually.
